  1. I must say that I dissagree. I love the use of tems, and the flow of this novel through and through, as a self taught Alexandrian, I veiw every source on Alexanders' childhood, fictional or nonfictional, as an important asset, and thereore a good read. In my near year of research, I have found that the order of which to put things, the chronology is difficult, but Tracy embodies this, embraces things that are fact, and enlightens the dark spots in ones' veiw on the ancient historical figure. Idolizing him becomes quite easy after reading this text, and I would recomend it to anyone with interest in Ancient history, philosophy, or Alexader the Great in general.
In the scenes of the schooling under Aristotle, the embodiment of Alexanders' fellow school-goers was creative, and it painted my minds' eye in a tapestry so rich in detail, I could not set the book down, unless it was eminently important to. In all, this book was descriptive, beautifully written, historically accurate, and an all over good read.

  2. 'The History Lover' comments refer to the review on the novel in Amazon. The Amazon reviewer's commentary 'misuse of terms' was of grammatical and spelling criticism, of which the author has made the necessary corrections in an update edition of the novel.
